Both COMPLIANCE and IMPOSTOR are available on Netflix's streaming service. I feel bad for this guy, but I also wonder who was crazy enough to lend him money to start this business.

Hey Butch, no need to feel bad for me. We're lucky in Ardmore to have a great film loving community supporting us! Most towns don't have the critical mass of people that love cinema or like to support local businesses. Ardmore and the surrounding areas have a lot of these folks and I couldn't thank them enough for the support.

These two flicks are being recommended because I think they're quite good and a lot of folks aren't aware of them. They may be available streaming, but the beauty of a good video store is that you can come in to rent ARGO (we've had it for a month, Netflix still doesn't have it) or LIFE OF PI (Netflix won't have that for another month) and hear about something a little off the beaten path as well.

For those of us who don't have fast enough internet connections to support Netflix streaming, having a solid video rental store in town is an amazing asset, especially if it is run by a real film enthusiast like Mr. Gomez. Keep up the good work!

Mr. Gomez - I shouldn't have said that I feel sorry for you. It just seems like a tough business to be in these days, that's all that I meant. I apologize. I sincerely hope that your business is very successful. I will stop in sometime soon.

Thanks, I appreciate it. It is definitely a tough business to be in, but I'm not in it cuz it's easy.

I am thrilled to support a local company. I thank Mr. Gomez for bringing such a warm and welcoming business to the town of Ardmore. I love opportunities to shop local. I cancelled Netflix as soon as I heard of your arrival. Thanks for your recommendations and the value added service. Thank you also for making Ardmore an even more delightful town in which to live.

Thanks for coming in and letting me blab about flix to you! I love doing it, and I couldn't be any luckier in having folks that appreciate that. Ardmore's a wonderful town, and I think we are adding to its charm!
