Sam's Grill in Wynnewood shut its doors in December last year, leaving an empty storefront at the busy Wynnewood Shopping Center.

The 2,417-square-foot space is listed as available on the Federal Realty website.

I would love to see Nudy's there or a restaurant that has some truly healthy options.

Yes! Another restaurant in the same place that offers healthy options and a juicer bar with fresh squeezed veggie and fruit would be great. Sam'e grill had good food and a great weekend breakfast. A place that serves breakfast 7 days a week with local organic produce would be wonderful. The Mainline needs more healthy restaurants and a restaurant that features local, organic produce.

That sounds great. The lower main line really lacks a good 'diner' option. I personally don't like Ardmore Station Cafe very much, Du Jour is delicious but a little on the upscale-side, and the Llanerch Diner is great but a bit if a hike. A traditional-style diner at that location focusing on, as you said, local and organic food would draw in huge crowds.

I concur with the others- a restaurant or diner that offered healthy, local, organic food would be most welcome in this area.

A sweet green styled place would be.., sweet. And at $15/wrap n drink, priced like DuJour, just might pay the rent. It's amazing how much demand we have for healthy foods but nobody to supply the market. Hmmm.

perfect for a second location of the "classic diner" in malvern. there are no great breakfast places in town and would be a great fit in the area.

The Classic Diner is a favorite spot of mine in Malvern! I'd love to see it expand here.

An alternative to McDs or Wendy's; maybe 5 Guys?

I agree that a Kosher butcher would be great. It is a horrible situation that we have lost our only free standing kosher butcher.

Would love to see a Vietnamese pho restaurant.

I agree with that option too. This area needs a Vietnamese restaurant. Another cuisine which the Mainline could benefit from is a Korean restaurant.

Korean BBQ done right would be a welcomed adventurous endeavor. Good one. Vietnamese has been tried before and the flops have shown its just way off the radar for us liners. Then again, it was horrible food, all around, the drinks were fantastic. But if they used real meats and replaced the strange, a watered down Vietnamese place might survive a while. If you tried the other places then you would know I'm not joking about the strange....
