A long meeting wraps up the 2011 budget discussions in Lower Merion.

The latest budget meeting of 2010 was the final budget meeting of 2010.

Township commissioners ratified a 10.8 percent tax increase and $28.3 million in capital projects in 2011, with final votes cast the 2011 budget and 2011-16 Capital Improvement Program at the Wednesday, Dec. 15 Board of Commissioners meeting.

What a political joke that meeting was! Commissioners feel nothing for seniors or anyone else who are struggling! Since Ms. Dellheim is happy paying 4.00 per day, perhaps she would be willing to pay mine too. Bruce Reed is arrogant and has his mind made up before he goes to meeting too. 7 to 6 votes are the biggest joke of all.
