Small Time: $4 In Change Stolen in Ardmore

On Monday afternoon, Lower Merion police reported to news media the following incidents from the past week in the Ardmore area:

Theft: About $4 in change was reported stolen April 18 from a Jeep parked in a driveway on the 300 block of Locust Avenue in Ardmore, police said. 

DUI: Police stopped a vehicle with its license-plate light out at the intersection of East Spring and Linwood avenues about 9:13 p.m. April 19, police said. The driver failed a field sobriety test and was taken back to police headquarters, where he blew a .1, police said. Michael Stuart, 59, of the 200 block of Edgemont Avenue in Ardmore, will be charged with DUI, police said.
