The developer of the former Palmer Theological Seminary in Wynnewood wants to renovate the complex differently than it had planned, and it got preliminary approval from Lower Merion's Planning Commission Monday night.

Instead of 132 apartments, CI6E Lancaster Avenue Associates wants to put in 112 apartments and install medical offices in the chapel out front.

No members of the public objected, and the commission voted unanimously in favor of the amendment.
