Looking for a good restaurant to go to this weekend?

Ardmore-Merion-Wynnewood Patch brought you the details of Poppi’s Pizza Thursday. Try the Poppi’s slice with fresh and Buffalo mozzarella cheeses, garlic, basil and fresh tomato sauce. The arugula salad is the perfect accompaniment. Click here for the review.

If that restaurant isn’t to your liking, check out other area restaurants that Patch reviewed this week:

Fuji Mountain 14 North Merion Avenue Bryn Mawr, PA 19010

Sublime sushi, sashimi and soba noodles are what’s on the menu here. All your other favorites like teriyaki, udon and satisfying rolls are also available but the fish here is not to be missed. Click here for the review.

Mica 8609 Germantown Avenue Philadelphia, PA 19118

Chef Chip Roman wowed us at Blackfish and continues to do so at his newest hotspot Mica. Seasonal, local produce are the stars of his well executed cuisine. You can not go wrong with any of the duck items, try the foie gras or Magret duck breast. Click here for the review.

Sampan Inn 8 Brookline Boulevard Havertown, PA 19083

A restaurant that offers both Chinese specialties and a full Japanese sushi menu, this place is heavenly. Try the honey miso salmon and the sushi platters. Click here for the review.

Euro Market 30 South Sproul Road Broomall, PA 19008

The personable shopkeeper here is a former star athlete who now coaches star athletes whenever she has down time. She started the business so she could enjoy and share imported European goods. She boasts that there are at least ten kinds of feta available. Click here for the Meet the Owner.

Sligo 113 West State Street Media, PA 19063

Stop in for a pint of Guinness, a burger and the decadent duck chips. Word on the street is that the duck chips may not be on the menu for much longer, better get ‘em while you can. Click here for the review.

Point of Destination Café West Upsal Street and Greene Street Philadelphia, PA 19119

Carroll Tillman is hands down one of the nicest and most energetic people you will ever meet. This Renaissance woman can do it all and then break out in song. Click here for the Meet the Chef.

Lee’s Hoagie House 214 Rock Hill Road Bala Cynwyd, PA 19004

The Lee’s Special hoagie is still one of the best around. Those that are looking for  a healthier alternative can opt for one of their wraps or the turkey hoagie. If you want a garden salad, it’s best to go somewhere else. Click here for the review.

Redstone American Grill 500 West Germantown Pike Plymouth Meeting, PA 19462

Stop in for a complimentary pecan bun, eggs prepared anyway you like, special eggs Benedict and hash browns made with cream cheese.  The fantastic brunch outshines the other meals. Click here for the review.

New Wayne Pizza 109 South Wayne Avenue Wayne, PA 19087

A killer pizza, fresh salads and some of the best stromboli around, this place has it all. The polynesian pizza is so good you won’t want to share. Click here for the review.
