Photos: National Night Out in Ardmore
Thousands gathered in Suburban Square for food, fun and games on Tuesday night.
Thousands gathered in Ardmore Tuesday night to play games, ride rides, chat with neighbors and meet and greet police and paramedics—all at National Night Out in Suburban Square.
Tuesday marked the 29th annual National Night Out, which Wynnewood resident Matt Peskin created back in 1984. Peskin, also the executive director of National Association of Town Watch, created the event in part to heighten crime awareness prevention and strengthen police-community partnerships.
More than 15,000 other communities across the United States, Canada and military bases worldwide host their own National Night Out events.
Take a look at the photo gallery above to see some of Ardmore's National Night Out festivities.

Yes, saw my 3 grandson's in one of the pictures. Bumpy took them up to the Celebration..they all really enjoyed everything! It was a great night. Entertaining and Educational!
Music was great, crowds polite, and happy, super Juggler/Magician - but the EMT's won my Grandsons vote, as the best part! I applaud them and the Police for the friendly professionalism...and Patience !
