McCloskey's Voted Best St. Paddy's Day Spot

McCloskey's Tavern received 52 percent of Patch readers' votes in our poll.

We asked, you answered. McCloskey's Tavern was voted by Patch readers as the best place to celebrate St. Patrick's Day in Ardmore.

McCloskey's, which garnered 52 percent of votes in this week's poll, will be starting St. Paddy's Day early, with live Irish music and Irish beer specials on Friday night. On Saturday, enjoy Guinness, Shepherd's Pie and corned beef sandwiches at "the oldest Irish pub on the Main Line," McCloskey's Facebook reads.

Brownies 23 East, which clocked in second with 40 percent of the vote, is celebrating St. Paddy's Day all day, with doors opening at noon on Saturday, and performances from Irish dancers and later in the evening, Irish band Blackthorn.

Check back this weekend for the Readers Choice winners across the region.
