Four years ago he was leading Haverford School to the Inter-Ac title. This coming season, he’ll be a pro.

According to the Delaware County Daily Times, 2009 Haverford School grad Jordan LeBlanc was selected by the Montreal Impact in the second round of the Major League Soccer supplemental draft last month.

After leaving the Fords—where he was named Delco Times Player of the Year, among other honors—LeBlanc played collegiately at Old Dominion. He was twice named to the all-league team as a Monarch, and during his senior season finished third on the team with five goals.

According to scouts on his MLS player page, LeBlanc has a promising future ahead of him:

"The best. Very intelligent on ball. Hard, quick, goes past people, offensive midfielder ... Can unlock defenses ... Definitely a difference-maker ... He was biggest impact player ... Very, very good on the ball ... Quite the work rate ... The guy is all over the place ... Offensive and defensive, a two-way player and very good ... One of the more complete players coming out of college as a midfielder this year."
