Four of the 10 richest Philadelphia-area ZIP codes are part of Lower Merion, according to a report from Philly.com. Haverford (19041), whose ZIP code includes part of Lower Merion Township and part of Haverford Township, was ranked fourth on the list.

An average household income in Haverford (19041) is $226,366, the website reported.

Gladwyne (19035) and Villanova (19085) top the list, with average household incomes of $322,586 and $266,226, respectively.  Coming in fifth is Bryn Mawr (19010), where the average income, $148,022, is less than half that of Gladwyne.
