New Chinese dine-in restaurant Golden Bowl, whose owners also own neighboring restaurant Golden China, will open for business Thursday, May 3, at noon.

The restaurant will feature Chinese food with some Vietnamese and Japanese influences, said Raymond Ding, son of owners Zhen and Jin Ding. The Dings also own Dragon Garden in Springfield.

While Golden China offers take-out and delivery, Golden Bowl will focus on dine-in meals, with take-out options available. Ding said the new restaurant has been in the works for several years.

Thursday from noon to 3 p.m., the community is invited to Golden Bowl's grand opening, which includes complimentary drinks and samples from the new menu.  The restaurant will officially open for dinner service Thursday evening.

Golden Bowl is located at 33 Rittenhouse Place, Ardmore.

According to Ding, the hours will be:

• Monday through Thursday: 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m.
• Friday and Saturday: 10:30 a.m. to 11 p.m.
• Sunday: 12 p.m. to 10 p.m.
