Get Out For Memorial Day, All Weekend Long

What to do this holiday weekend.

It's Memorial Day on Monday, and to most of us, that means a three-day weekend. So live a little this weekend—Patch is here to help you find activities in the area ... and you have an extra day to recuperate.  Below are more details, along with the rest of the weekly rundown of things to do. (Unless otherwise noted, more information can be had by clicking on the header links to start each Get Out item.)

Memorial Day in downtown Ardmore. Memorial Day is a full day in Lower Merion Township. At 9:45 a.m. on Monday (May 30), the Merion Concert Band will perform at Lancaster and Argyle avenues. A parade follows, leaving from Greenfield Avenue at 10:30 a.m., featuring Lower Merion firetrucks, members of the Historical Car Club of Pennsylvania, cheerleaders, decorated bikes and more. The parade will lead to a Memorial Service at St. Paul’s Cemetery at 11:15 a.m.
