Frozen Yogurt 'Coming Soon' To Former Cold Stone Spot

Cold Stone Creamery has vacated its Suburban Square location, and another frozen treat shop looks ready to take its place. Signage indicates that Fruitti Yummi, a frozen yogurt shop, is 'coming soon' to the Coulter Avenue space.
Cold Stone Creamery's last day in Suburban Square was Dec. 24, according to Suburban Square general manager Mark Bachus.
Kimco Realty's leasing agent was not immediately available to offer more details on the new tenant, but there is at least one other Fruitti Yummi location, in Ridgewood, NY. An employee at the Ridgewood location said the store is independently owned, and not connected to the new Ardmore location.
Currently, there is no standalone frozen yogurt shop in Ardmore. Sweetgreen, however, also located in Suburban Square on Coulter Avenue, sells froyo in addition to its salads and wraps. The closest frozen yogurt shops are Kiwi Yogurt in Haverford and Yapple Yogurt in Wynnewood.

I didn't like Cold Stone, but no, I am not happy to have another frozen yogurt place on the Main Line. There are way too many.

Wow, I didnt even notice that Cold Stone closed. I agree there are a lot of FroYo places, but I guess it makes sense to put one in Ardmore within walking distance of all the shoppers of Suburban Square and downtown Ardmore.
But my favorite froyo is still Sweetgreen! And its a good deal cheaper than these self-serve and weigh it places (which is what I imagine this one will be too).

I wish the former Cold Stone owners the best. It's never fun to fail in business. I've heard Cold Stone is a bad franchise with one of the highest failure rates in the courntry. A lot of their stores are closing down.

We should all wish the former Cold Stone owners the best. Like me and literally hundreds more franchissees, they were duped by the crooked Cold Stone management and lost their life savings trying to make an impossible business model work.
