Forbes Ranks Haverford College No. 7

The Princeton Review and Forbes rank Haverford College among the country's best schools.

is getting kudos from both Forbes and the Princeton Review.

Forbes ranked Haverford College No. 7 in the America’s Top 100 Colleges.

Forbes ranking is based on, “quality of teaching, great career prospects, graduation rates and low levels of debt,” according to its website.

Haverford ranks above the University of Pennsylvania, at No. 52 and , at No. 54.

The Princeton Review has named Haverford College as one of the top-ranked colleges in the nation for having some of the most studious students.

In The Princeton Review’s new book, The Best 376 Colleges, Haverford College ranked number eight for the “Students Study the Most” category, according to The Princeton Review’s website

Haverford College beat out Swarthmore College and in that category, ranked 11 and 13 respectively.

The college was also ranked number 15 for having the “Least Religious Students,” the website stated.

Chris Mills, Haverford College’s director of college communications, had this to state when Patch contacted him via email about The Princeton Review’s ranking of the school.

“Haverford College does not comment on rankings.  However, we are happy to say on this day—as on every day—that we are proud of our students, faculty and alumni, who are committed to bettering the world by being engaged citizens, inspiring leaders, thoughtful scholars and trusted forces for good in their communities,” Mills wrote to Patch.
