The Sovereign Bank branch in the GSB Building at City and Belmont Avenues in Bala Cynwyd was robbed about 10:45 a.m. Thursday by a man whose face is seen clearly on surveillance footage, according to Lower Merion police.
The man handed a teller a demand note upon entering the bank, police said. The teller complied and handed cash to the man, who then fled. No one was hurt.
