An Ardmore man has been arrested in connection with the robbery of a Cricket Avenue pharmacy at knifepoint, according to a Lower Merion police department release. Anthony Bright, 34, was arrested on Thursday.

On Tuesday, a man wearing a mask entered J. B. Merrick Apothecary on Cricket Avenue in Ardmore and announced a robbery, police said. The man moved three employees to the back of the store at knifepoint and demanded a number of prescription drugs, police said.  After employees handed over the requested drugs, the suspect fled through the pharmacy's back door, according to the release.

On Thursday, Bright was arrested by Lower Merion Township police, according to the release.
