With Ludington Library's grand opening celebration set for Saturday, Ardmore Library will be changing its hours of operation, according to Ardmore Library staff. Ardmore had expanded its hours during Ludington construction, and will resume its normal hours on Saturday, Sept. 8.

Beginning Saturday, Ardmore Library's hours are:

• Monday, Tuesday, Thursday: 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
• Wednesday: 1 p.m. to 8 p.m.
• Friday and Saturday: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• Sunday: Closed

In other changes at the library, children's librarian Gail McCowm will be leaving to return to her job at Ludington, according to Dawnita Brown, head of children's programming at Ardmore Library.

The library will continue its children's story hour on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday at 10 a.m., with some help from volunteers, Brown said.

Penn Wynne Library's hours remain the same: 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
