Can you guess where in the Ardmore-Merion-Wynnewood Patch area this 1937 photo was taken?

Last week, we asked readers to identify the location of a c. 1937 photo taken somewhere in the Ardmore Patch area.

If you squint hard enough, maybe you can see the answer on the street sign in this week's historical photo. If your eyesight isn't quite up to snuff, let us help you out: the location is the intersection of Manoa and Rock Glen Roads in Penn Wynne—1438 Manoa Road.

As can be seen in the photo, in 1937 the building was an American Store. Around 1949, the building became the Penn Wynne Hardware Store, according to a comment on the Lower Merion Historical Society website. The building is now Bryce's Catering.

Kudos to Patch user Beau Endres, who correctly guessed the location.

Check back Monday for a new historical photo challenge.
