NYT BESTSELLING AUTHOR SPEAKS AT TWO LOCAL CHARITY EVENTS
ARDMORE, Pa.—(September 25, 2012)—Gordon D’Angelo, New York Times bestselling author of “Vision: Your Pathway to Victory,” will speak at two free charity events hosted by Scharf Group LLC to support the efforts of both Arc Alliance and Breastcancer.org on Oct. 2 and Oct. 3.
“It is truly an inspiration to speak in front of this community, as well as members of these two organizations,” said D’Angelo. “I have spent a large portion of this year relaying the importance of vision, and I am honored for the opportunity to help make a difference in the lives of people from this area whose life stories have influenced me.”
The first event, “Discovering your Direction to a Better Future,” will take place on Tuesday, Oct. 2 from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at J.P. Mascaro and Son’s in Audobon, Pa. Donations will be accepted on the behalf of Arc Alliance and audience members will hear a brief commentary from Scott Camilleri, executive director of the foundation. In addition, Edward Di Pietro, the senior vice president of Scharf Group and board member for the Arc Alliance will be in attendance to rally behind his organization and support the needs of its members.
Arc Alliance is one of the largest proponents of the rights of people with intellectual and developmental delays and disabilities in Southeastern Pennsylvania. “Vision Lunch and Launch” is the second Scharf Group event taking place on Oct. 3 from 12:15 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Suburban Square in Ardmore, Pa. Donations will be accepted on the behalf of Breastcancer.org., and both Pamela Green, director of marketing, Amanda Ryan, development associate of Breastcancer.org and other members of the organization will be present to support the cause associated with October’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Breastcancer.org is a proud sponsor of “Rock the Ribbon” and is a local non-profit organization created to assist women diagnosed with breast cancer find hope, education and support.
