Main Line Art Center, located in Haverford has a longstanding tradition of supporting the local artistic community while making art accessible to the public, and one of its most popular shopping experiences, the Holiday Fine Craft Sale, is certainly no exception.  This year’s Holiday Fine Craft Sale runs for 10 days and features a wide variety of unique and affordable gifts lovingly handcrafted by 50 local artists.  Entry to the Holiday Fine Craft Sale is free, and the Art Center has plenty of parking available.  Sale hours are Monday through Friday 10 am to 8 pm, Saturday 10 am to 5 pm, and Sunday, 10 am to 4 pm.  Members of Main Line Art Center are invited to a preview reception on Thursday, November 29 from 5 to 8 pm.

The process of curating artists to feature in the Holiday Fine Craft Sale begins in the summer with a rigorous application process.  Each year, the Art Center strives to put together a sale that offers only the highest quality one-of-a-kind fine crafts that appeal to a variety of tastes and price points.  The result is a sale that beautifully mixes intricate jewelry with luxurious, hand-dyed scarves; whimsical home accessories with ornate blown glass vases; and sumptuously fragranced hand-milled soaps with truly unique journals with hand-stitched bindings.

Gifts start at just $5, and benefit Main Line Art Center’s award-winning arts education and community outreach programs, in addition to supporting the local artistic community.  Many of the selected artists will be on hand during the run of the sale so that patrons can learn more about the story behind their gift directly from the person who created it.
